As most of the manufacturers are introducing their BSIV compliant models in the market, Honda has also introduced its best-selling model in the same league. Yes, Honda Activa 4G is launched in India at a price tag of Rs 50,730. Along with complying with the latest norms for carbon emissions, the recently introduced variant also get some advanced features. The design of the scooter is also improved a bit with new front cover design, and tubeless tyres.

The Honda Activa 4G also gets mobile charging plug under seat storage, and AHO (Automatic Headlamp ON). Powering the new Activa 4G is a 109cc, Air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that delivers 8 hp maximum power and 9 Nm peak torque. The engine is further coupled to a V-Matic transmission and complies with the BS4 emission norms. For braking, the scooter is equipped with Honda’s advanced Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer and the CLIC (Convenient Lift up Independent Cover Mechanism). This helps easier and faster maintenance.

The latest Activa 4G is now available in 7 color options which include Imperial Red Metallic, Tance Blue Metallic, Black, Pearl Amazing White, Majestic Brown Metallic, Metallic Matte Selene Silver and Metallic Matte Axis Grey. Currently, the Activa faces competition from Hero Maestro, TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Yamaha Fascino, and Mahindra Gusto. Since Activa launch, the scooter has enjoyed a clear dominance in the respective segment and has been a leading seller for the company.

Though TVS Jupiter is the closest competitor of the scooter but, still Activa is the segment leader.
