DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 Limited Edition Launched In India

One of the much-acclaimed bikes of Hyosung has now been accompanied with a limited edition. Yes, DSK Hyosung has introduced Aquila 250 limited edition in India at a starting price of Rs 2.94 lakh. There will be only 100 units of this limited edition bike and will be available in three color options – matte black, green and desert brown. Apart from aesthetics, there are no changes in the bike mechanically.

Powering the cruiser is a 249cc DOHC V-twin engine that produces 26.57hp maximum power at 9500 rpm and 21.37 Nm peak torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. At the front, telescopic forks equipped while the rear features hydraulic double shock absorbers. Braking duties of Aquila 250 limited edition are handled by disc brake setup for the front and the rear. To give you a hassle-free cruising experience, the Aquila 250 limited edition features 14-litre fuel tank.

Currently, the Hyosung Aquila face competition from Bajaj Avenger, and Royal Enfield Bullet 500. If we look at the market share, Bajaj and Royal Enfield enjoys the dominance and Hyosung really need to push up to get a significant sales number. Despite a striking design the bike has not gained significant response and this might be due to the price range in which it is placed. Even the on-road performance of the bike is quite decent and still failed to grab enough riders to cruise around.

However, with the introduction of a limited edition Aquila, the company might get some significant attention from the cruise lovers. The limited edition units will be available at DSK Hyosung dealerships across India. The bike is priced at Rs 2,94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
