2017 Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 launched in India

An upgraded version of the much-acclaimed Street Rod 750 is finally launched by the American bike manufacturer in India. Yes, 2017 Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 is launched in India at Rs 5.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated street cruiser bike now delivers an upgraded performance, handling and much more aggressive riding stance. The chassis of the bike is also redesigned to give better performance and rigidity. The 17-inch alloy wheels further improves the responsiveness of the bike in an effective manner.

The hardware upgrade include 43 mm USD forks up front with the fork rake tightened from 32-degrees to 27-degrees for quicker steering. An external reservoir is added on the rear twin shock absorber which increases the fluid capacity and maintain damping consistency. The swingarm is slightly extended to accommodate the taller shocks and the ground clearance of the bike now measures 205 mm.

Powering the Street 750 Rod is Revolution X 750 V-twin engine that pulls out more power and torque than the previous version. The braking duties include 300mm discs at the front and the rear with ABS as standard. The bookings for the 2017 Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 have already started and one can book it on any of the dealership of the company. The test rides for the updated bike will commence from April 21. The all-new 2017 Harley Davidson Street 750 will be available in three color options which include Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold.

If we talk about the popularity of the Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750, the company has managed to sell a total of 3,373 units in April 2016 – February 2017 period. Harley Davidson Street 750 is the bestselling model in India but, the company has witnessed a 19 percent year on year decrement and with the new model, Harley is expecting to witness growth in sales number.
