Currently, the diesel variant is offered with a 2.4-litre and a 2.8-litre engine options and as Delhi, many states are in a queue to impose ban on vehicles holding an engine capacity larger than 2000cc. And the step of bringing out a petrol variant of Innova Crysta, might prove out to be a wise decision for the company. The Innova Crysta Petrol will be equipped with a 2.7-litre, 4-cylinder engine that will be able to produce a maximum power of 164 hp and peak torque of 250 Nm. On the transmission front, the customers will be offered a choice between 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic.

The company has planned to start the deliveries from the middle of this month and like its diesel variant, the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol is already on a waiting period before even its launch. This clearly shows the popularity that this Toyota MPV has gained in just few months of its launch in the country. The reasons are quite clear, the plush interiors, unmatched comfort, powerful and reliable engine and refreshed styling.
