Even the Bolt hatchback has not been able to revive the sales of the company and according to sources Tata can discontinue this hatchback in the Indian market. Tata Kite 5 made its debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo and before Hexa, the Kite 5 is the next big launch for the Indian automaker. The aggressive pricing and class leading features, just like its younger sibling Tiago, are some of the factors that can change the face of the entire segment in an effective manner. Looking at the design, the Kite 5 is one of the finest presentation from the Indian automaker, which can be also termed as one of the best looking compact sedan in the segment.

Just like Tiago, it will also feature two engine options, the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel which will be upgraded in terms of power and torque figures. The Kite 5 will also feature two driving modes excluding the Sport mode and will be placed below the Zest with all the features to make it a winner. Expected to have better response than Tata Tiago, the Kite 5 will be competing against the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Chevrolet Sail, Ford Aspire, Suzuki Swift Dzire and and newly launched Volkswagen Ameo.
