Skoda Auto Design Head, Jozef Kaban led the team and said that Kodiaq SUV design is extremely versatile. The upcoming SUV will be exceptionally spacious and will hold the largest boot space in the segment. But, the catch is, the external dimensions are kept compact, which is one of the key highlights of the Kodiaq design. The focus is not just kept to the external designing of the SUV but, the manufacturer has also worked on making it a versatile vehicle, catering to the requirements of different terrains in an efficacious manner.

Skoda Kodiaq is evolved while keeping the form and functionality intact and this will be clearly reflected in the exterior as well as interior of the SUV, said the design head. Looking closely at the Kodiaq SUV design sketches, the highly recessed shoulder line reflects the large Skoda SUV’s robust character. All the lines shown by the sketches are clear, precise and sharp that portrays the aerodynamic structure of the upcoming Skoda SUV. Raked, flat headlights, wide Skoda grille and the brand’s insignia all together give an aggressive front to the SUV.
Their Czech crystal glass art has been paid homage by the crystalline structure of the headlights. The rear section has been also extensively sculpted that accentuates the Skoda Kodiaq’s sporty, robust SUV character in an effective manner. The rear LED lights are evolved in the brand’s typical C-shape, taking ahead the Skoda SUV design lines in detail. Looking at the SUV from side will equally give a strong impression of the robust character of the SUV and the long wheelbase along with short overhangs will lead to improved cabin space, as hinted by the officials.
The brand has not revealed the images of the interior but, it can be expected that it will be equally sporty and will carry the traits of Skoda Kodiaq design.
