With the advent of DC Design store at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai has become the next city where DC Design has made its reach. On the show, is the India’s first sports car made by Dilip Chhabria, the much acclaimed DC Avanti, which is all set to grab the eyeballs of the people around the terminal T2 of CSIA. The launch of DC Design store in the CSIA Terminal 2 will serve as a one stop shop for the customers to provide information about the company’s offerings and will also help in better reach due to high footfall on the airport.

Focusing on the car, the aerodynamic design of the car is evident from the very first look at this beauty. The bi-xenon headlights with DRLs, wide air dams with inset mesh grille and smooth character lines all together gives a sporty appeal. The body coloured bumpers, rear mounted engine and scoops further adds to the sporty character. Under the hood, DC Avanti is offered with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, churning out maximum power of 251.4 PS and peak torque of 340 Nm. Coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, the power is transferred to the rear wheels.

The list of features include optional parking sensors, keyless start stop, parking assistance, multi-function display, GPS navigation, automatic climate control, ABS and Brake Assist. Being categorized in the sports car category, the DC Avanti is not equipped with Airbags system and that might be a matter of concern for both, the company and the consumers.
