Isuzu MU-X to be Launched by the end of 2016

The Indian market has clearly shown their love towards full fledged SUVs and this has forced different automakers to introduce their potential SUVs in the segment. Isuzu MU-X is yet another potential competitor of the much acclaimed Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour, which will also compete against Mahindra SsangYong Rexton as well as Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. According to reports, the MU-X will be replacing the aged MU-7 and will be sharing Chevrolet Trailblazer platform. Though the MU-X holds contemporary styling, the styling cues are inspired from Isuzu D-Max.

The front face of the Isuzu’s SUV forms a V-shaped structure, comprising the wide grille and headlamp cluster. The side profile and rear profile is quite similar to the Chevrolet Trailblazer, which is evident from the wrap-around rear windshield and 16-inch alloy wheels. The similarities are not only restricted to just exterior styling but, can be witnessed inside as well. The all-new MU-X will feature 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, significant sized, 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 6-speaker, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation system and 10-inch DVD monitor. Further, the climate control system, split and fold second & third row seats, 12-cup holders and 19 cubby holes adds to the comfort and utility of this new SUV.
