Hyundai i30 has gained significant attention before even its launch and India market is also expecting this stylish piece of art from the house of Hyundai. To give a sneak peak to the auto enthusiast, Hyundai i30 teaser images have been released by the automaker. The car’s world premiere is scheduled for September 7 and this is the perfect time to create hype through teaser images. It is also expected that the South Korean automaker will showcase the Hyundai i30 at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, which is going to be held between October 1 and October 16, 2016.

The teaser images have not revealed the exact details of the car but, some design elements are quite evident. The chrome finish on the sides of wide horizontal grille, the swept back, sleek headlights and DRLs that are vertically stacked all together are giving an aggressive touch to the front. The angular shaped rear features LED lights and is much more like an upgraded version of the i20’s rear. Under the hood, there will be option of both petrol and diesel engines.

There might be either a 1.4L or 1.6L petrol engine which delivers maximum power between 118 hp and 128 hp respectively. While the peak torque is expected to be around 157 Nm. For the diesel option, a 1.6-litre mill is expected which churns out maximum power of 134 hp and peak torque of 178 Nm. Both the engine options will be coupled with 6-speed transmission, manual and automatic both.

For India launch, the manufacturer has not revealed any official date but, looking at the growing popularity of Hyundai cars in India, the company might introduce in the Indian market by mid of 2017. For now, the particular premium hatchback segment starts with top guns like Mercedes-Benz and with the introduction of Hyundai i30, the customers will get a more affordable option.
