Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift To Be Launched In Early 2017

The automobile media houses have already spotted the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift testing and now we have its launch time period. It was earlier speculated that the South Korean automaker will introduce the much awaited facelift of Grand i10 this year only but, now we think it will limit its line-up updation limited to Hyundai Tucson only, which will be launching next month. According to images revealed, the new Grand i10 will feature a refreshed fascia with a number of tweaks on the door panels and the taillights.

The updated Grand i10 has already made its entry in the Europe where it is known as i10 and no information about major changes inside the cabin are revealed. But, we expect that there will be some minor changes in the interior as well. On the mechanical front, Hyundai Grand i10 facelift will carry forward the existing engine options. These options include 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol and 1.1-litre three-cylinder diesel engines. The Hyundai Grand i10 was first introduced in 2013 and after completing successful three years in the market, the facelift is all set to mark its entry.

In past few years, Hyundai Cars have witnessed a significant positive response from the Indian customers, the biggest examples are Hyundai Creta, Verna and i20, which have become leading cars in their respective segments. Hyundai Grand i10 is competing against the likes of Maruti-Suzuki Swift, Fiat Punto Evo, Ford Figo and Tata Bolt. The updated version of the rivals are already launched or already on cards to be launched soon and the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift is a much needed step from the South Korean brand to keep its feet strong in the respective segment.

Let’s see if the Grand i10 facelift can top the sales chart in its respective segment or it will be still Maruti who will continue to lead.
