The production of Honda Civic Type R will take place at the Swindon factory in the UK and will be exported to global markets such as the US. Once on road, it will be facing a tough competition from the likes of Ford Focus RS, Audi RS3 Sportback, Volkswagen Golf R, and Mercedes-AMG A45. For India, Honda will not bring this version of Civic and only the regular sedan version is on papers that too sometime in near future.
