The interior theme is based on the beige color theme, while the top-end variant will feature an all-black color. Even the seat fabric has been updated, claimed by Honda but the real difference will be identified when the customers will give their feedback. Considering the powertrain, the Honda Brio facelift will continue featuring a 1.2-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine capable of delivering a maximum power of 88 PS and peak torque of 109 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic gearbox. With the manual transmission, the fuel economy is expected to range between 16-19 kmpl while the automatic variant will reduce this range to 14-17 kmpl.

The Brio facelift will be facing direct competition from the likes of Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10, Suzuki Swift and Mahindra KUV 100. The availability of only petrol variant has been a challenge for Brio previously and it will continue with the facelift as well. The only thing which we have to see is how the updated features and styling help Honda in attracting more customers.
