Looking at the spied image, the X2’s roofline looks quite subtle. The big tailgate spoiler, steeply raked black glass, gives it hatchback look but, the roofline shape makes it stand in the Sports Activity Coupe segment, as claimed by the company. The BMW X2 will be sharing the MINI platform, UKL front-wheel and is expected to have a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, and 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine options. Though the engine choices will vary according to the respective market. Both the engines will be mated to either a 6-speed automatic or 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with xDrive all-wheel drive system.
