Audi RS7 Launched In India

Expanding the performance cars segment in India, the German automaker, Audi has introduced the RS7 in India at a price tag of INR 1,59,65,000 crore. The Audi RS7 will be offered as a direct import in India and considering the high-end performance of the car, the demand and supply both will be limited in the country. In the respective segment, the only direct rival of Audi RS7 is the BMW M6 Gran Coupe which is more expensive and priced at INR 1.77 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Powering the RS7 sportback is the 4.0-litre TFSI bi-turbo V8 engine which is also equipped in the standard version of the car. The maximum power output varies from 560 PS to 605 PS and the peak torque stands at 750 Nm by using ‘Overboost’ torque-on-demand function. Through this function, the performance of the RS7 sportback takes a leap from the standard version. While the standard RS7 clocks 100 kmph mark in 3.9 seconds while the performance version does this in 3.7 seconds. The sportback version can clock the top speed of 305 kmph. Considering the performance of the car, the RS7 will not disappoint on the mileage front and one can expect a mileage between 13-14 kmpl on highways.

The sportback comes with four driving modes which include Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual. The customers will be offered with a choice of either 20-inch or 21-inch wheels with few gunmetal accents on the outside. Talking about the styling of Audi RS7, the front highlights the aggressive nature of the sportback and wide air gaps in the front clearly indicates that this is not an ordinary sedan. But, the key highlight of the front is the trendy headlight cluster, which comes with standard LED lighting technology. In the cabin there are few changes, which are done on the dashboard.

The leather wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters and drive mode selector further ease the driving. The seats are covered with Alcantara leather upholstery which is further highlighted with diamond patterned stitching.
