The SUV that has ruled the roads of not only India but, many other countries is all set for its next innings in the Indian market. To be launched on November 7 the 2017 Toyota Fortuner specifications are out. Considering the prices of 2017 Toyota Fortuner, it is sure that the pricing will be on the higher side due to the advanced technology and heavy cosmetic as well as equipment changes in the cabin. Toyota is confident on hefty price tag and the ex-showroom prices will cross the INR 30 lakh mark. The current pricing of the top-spec 4X4 AT is INR 28 lakh.

The 2017 Toyota Fortuner will be offered with two engine options – 2.8-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol. Both these engine options will have switchable drive modes for power and economy and there will be three driving configurations. Toyota’s 4WD drive is now known as Sigma 4 and is likely to be available with both a manual and an automatic gearbox with diesel engines. The petrol versions will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the diesel versions will be paired with 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The 2017 Toyota Fortuner will feature a new set of headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, and refreshed taillamps. The diesel variant will be featuring 18-inch alloy wheels while the petrol will be equipped with 17-inch rims. As the 2017 Toyota Fortuner is launching on November 7, many Toyota dealerships have started accepting the booking and the delivers are promised to commence from the second week of November.
