2017 Suzuki Swift Spotted With Heavy Camouflage

As the launch date of the much acclaimed Swift is coming near, the manufacturer is pacing up the testing procedure of the hatchback. The 2017 Suzuki Swift has been spotted while testing in heavy camouflage. As suggested by experts earlier, the new Swift’s face will be a refreshed one, even the rear profile has received severe changes. Some changes that are notable even under camouflage include wide, hexagonal grille, shrunk and stubbier headlamps but, with a projector headlamp. Accompanying it is a set of daytime running lights which surely give a upbeat feel to the loved Swift.

The manufacturer has matched the designing cues to the other recently introduced models like Brezza and Baleno and the new Swift will have much more mature face over an aggressive one. The new set of alloy wheels are evident from the side, which are adding a sportier touch to the overall profile.

The rear door handles position have been changed and now they exist next to the rear windows, similar to Chevrolet Beat. Overall, the design is oriented towards improving the performance and making the ride more city friendly. The short nose, sloping roof and stubby rear are quite apparent from the images and is much like the current Swift aesthetics.

The rear has been treated with more LED lights, including the high mount stop lamp and features quite a larger cargo bay just like Baleno. Moving to the cabin, the 2017 Suzuki Swift will continue to feature a sporty touch and will possess an all-black theme. The new attractions are the flat-bottom steering wheel, MID between speedometer and tachometer and the instrumentation that is quite funky. Speculated to have a touch screen infotainment system, the mule has received a 2DIN audio system and whether the production model will get a SmartPlay infotainment with Apple CarPlay is yet to be seen.

The next-gen Swift seems promising as well as competent in the segment. It looks like that the Swift with its new avatar will be able to regain its shaken position in the Indian market. The all-new Suzuki Swift will be priced around INR 4.75 lakh and that might be an another added advantage for the hatch.
